Good Monday,
I have my glasses on this time, and did a bit better job of spelling my last name.
The sun is hinting at making an appearance here, but is still tentative. Her warmth wafts down through the clouds, though, bringing out
the "cat," in me.
Glad to hear that you tried a vertical approach to life, even if only briefly. It's good for the soul, and clear evidence of a victory.
The playroom painting project is still in progress. We're talking acres, which is why it's had to wait more than a few years. Now it's just a matter of taking brush and roller in hand, and putting paint to wall and trim. Lots and lots of it, the "it" referring to all of the above, the wall, the trim, and the paint. The ceiling and trim are white, and the wall color is a golden yellow. A sun color. Specially chosen for the days when there isn't any.
Wishing you a comfortable afternoon in which to contemplate a return to punning.

Posted by: Sharon at August 23, 2004 03:32 PMHello everyone,
So absolutely wonderful to know that Donel is progressing so well! Being able to stand up is awe inspiring!
I'm with Janet--the thing to pray for now is puns and lots of them!
Thanks again for your wonderful reports and pictures.
Marilyn
The Montlake Bridge is one of my favorites and plays a part in my birth story. I was born in Seattle (raised there) and when my mother and I came home from the hospital (62 years ago!) the bridge started to go up just after my father drove onto the bridge. Apparently the little man up in the tower saw the car and stopped the bridge and they were able to back up. I always have felt sorry for my Mom, my birth had one more tramatic event associated with it, I was born 4 days before Pearl Harbor was bombed. Enough already!
Hi, Donel. I sure hope you start telling jokes soon. Then we will all know you are ok. Take it easy and do everything you are told to do.
Love, K
I'm not 'xactly sure I was praying for the puns themselves, Marilyn. But I suppose we will all tolerate them gladly (for a little while) when they return.

Uh oh....now I am starting to be afraid again. NO puns yet? Oh dear. I'll start praying harder. :)
