1:30pm Update

Nurse called from the o.r. She says everything is going fine, and they should have the specimen removed within a half-hour. More as we hear it... Posted by Martin at August 19, 2004 01:41 PM

Dear Martin, Thank you for all the updates. I love the pics. He's one cool guy. Hey, this Sat pm we're having a jazz fest at Eastgate. Wheel your Dad in and he can get very mellow. Nothing like jazz to battle against the powers, principalities, and the cancer bugs!

We have felt right there with all the family thanks to the great updates. You certainly all have been on our mind and certainly in our hearts. This waiting business is always the hardest. With our love and prayers - Barb and Larry

Last night, as Erin and I were enjoying the thrill of seeing whales on our return trip from Victoria, I prayed that the joy of life so evident in the whales leaping through the water would flow through the surgeon's fingers today and through them right back into our beloved Donel. Thank you so much for keeping us updated you guys. You are all loved.

Hi All - This is a wonderful way to keep us posted. Imagine being in So. Cal. and knowing exactly what's happening. Uncle Don is in our prayers, including our church prayer chain today. I loved the pictures. He looks the picture of health, doesn't he? Martin, I can't believe you haven't figured out a way to sneak into the OR and take pictures yet! Thanks for helping us all through this. Hugs to all you Mc's.
