A Room With a View

Just want to report that dad is checked in to a very nice room overlooking Husky Stadium on the 7th floor. He is in great spirits and has had a very busy afternoon with numerous doctors and residents coming through to meet him. Surgery is scheduled for early tomorrow morning (about 6:30 am). He has managed to find out the secret to logging onto the internet via the information monitors in each patient's room so you may even hear from him (if he doesn't get caught by a nurse first...) Thanks so much for all of your good thoughts and wishes. We will keep you posted. Posted by Dani at August 18, 2004 07:33 PM

Donel,
I'll be meditating during some of the time you're in surgery, so I'll be there in the room with you, but I promise to keep a very low profile.

Did you check on whether they will be playing music during the surgery and, if so, what? I'd favor something quiet and sensuous by Bill Evans.
Blessings and helaing love, Roger

Dear Donel,
You have spent so much of your time visiting hospitals and offering supportive prayers for those in your congregation. I hope that you feel that you are being supported by "pillows of prayer" coming back to you from all of us at this time. God be with you, our friend.
